Married Bachelor Wants Divorce

Part of my job as a researcher consists of reading through old newspapers.  Sometimes an unexpected article catches my eye that is way more interesting than what I was originally scanning for.

This 1924 blurb from The Los Angeles Times is one example:

I couldn't find any follow up articles on the case, so I cannot report on the fate of the bling-less Mrs. Bachelor.  My guess is that she got the heave-ho because I couldn't find any records for them as a couple past the early 1920s.
