Lil Chris Baker’s memorial location is listed when referenced w/in Forest Lawn’s Burial Locator’s link among their official website and also can be obtained thru the record’s dept @ FL, and therefore can be visited by the general public. This is according to FL policy. (If you want to make it look real legit, obtain a directional map of Baker’s grave when you stop @ the info booth.) You should at least inform security of this and your awareness of FL’s rules and regulations regarding your right of visitation to ANYONE noted among the FL burial locator page (whether you’re a family member or total stranger) in case the officer(s) attempts to oust you from the premises. Remember, this is an "authorized" location which has been officially disclosed by FL. The exception is when the family of the deceased specifically requests that the exact final resting site of that individual be w/held. Otherwise, anything goes in regards to seeing certain graves, including celebrites. (If you don't believe me, look up some "notable public figures" in the FL burial locator, e.g. Humphrey Bogart in Glendale.)

I enjoy spending time exploring cemeteries, reading and photographing headstones of celebrities and civilians alike, and learning about the lives and deaths of these so-called "permanent residents" of the graveyards and mausoleums. This blog chronicles those experiences.

One of the cemeteries I'm most interested in these days is Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif. I wrote about its legal problems for the LA Daily News' community hub, ValleyNews.com from August 2006 to December 2008, when Valley News ceased operations. In response to reader requests to have one central source of information, I created and continue to maintain Grand View Memorial Park (dot) Info.
