Cannot believe I haven't posted anything new here in six months. Yikes! Why? Mainly because I've been busy writing books -- a couple coming down the pike, very exciting -- and also because I've become completely addicted to Facebook. I post there daily. Even my cat, Jackpot, has a following there. Great fun!
Last summer I focused almost exclusively on my Adventures in Grave Hunting blog. The death of Michael Jackson sparked unbelievable worldwide interest in cemeteries. After being interviewed by numerous local, national and international media outlets, traffic went through the roof, so I got back into posting fresh stories there due to an entire new audience base. It is my most favorite blog to write for, so I continue to add new stories on a regular basis.
This year, so far, I've been busy wrapping up miscellaneous project commitments from 2009 and consolidating my web efforts. Starting today, this blog will be the new home for the LisaBurks.com URL. (Well, it will be, as soon as GoDaddy finalizes the domain forwarding.) Everything you want to know about my writing and photography projects, and my life in general, will now be accessible on this central hub page, with update alerts posted to Facebook and Twitter.
Here's to a wonderful 2010 for us all. Thank you for reading!
