I've been covering Michael Jackson fan activity at Forest Lawn Glendale for several months now. That includes photographing the many handmade tributes delivered on a monthly basis to the Holly Terrace patio by the Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California on Facebook -- gifts sent from other devotees from around the world. Traditionally I create basic videos to highlight the many gorgeous, heartfelt items and post them on YouTube, but this month I experimented with using Flash technology and ran into a glitch.
The good news is that I found a great editing tool. The bad news is that the trial edition won't let me incorporate video (my main reason for wanting to master Flash skills) or post the final product to YT (I found out after finishing the piece, duh.)
Ya get what ya pay for.
Luckily, the freebie version is blog friendly so all is not lost this time around. Here's a look at the many wonderful April offerings.

Thank you so much Lisa for taking the time to do this. So many of us are not able to get to Forest Lawn for distance reasons. This way we can see all the beautiful things that are left there for Michael. Truly beautiful

WOW, Lisa you have out done yourself again, this is beautiful, no words can discribe how grateful all of us are to have you share such wonderful pictures, cards and the notes written.I especially loved the picture of Michaels arms wraped around Jesus, that was touching.

Lisa: You are such a cool individual...and one hell of a Michael Jackson fan to top it off--I miss MJ terribly but I must admit his love has enabled me to come in contact with a lot of wonderful, interesting, caring, loving individuals. I just watched both videos, I always love to see how you put them together, they are always so beautiful. I almost cried when I watched the first video you made with the flash technology, that LOVE picture you used for the backround was sent to Michael by me and my 6 year old daughter, and then at about 1:35 I saw the picture my daughter drew for Michael, the one with the rainbow on yellow paper. When I saw that LOVE sign in the store, it just screamed Michael, I had to send it to him. This was the second time I've sent items to him with the MJFSC, I love them so much and am so greatful for everything they do. Thank you for making these videos, keep up the good work!
