I came across these two little angels in the Babyland section at Grand View Memorial Park on Sunday afternoon.
Normally I would have knelt down and immediately cleaned off the tablet. But something about the way this particular portion of the marker remained so noticeably uncovered really touched me.
Maybe it's because I keep hearing word that the case may be settled soon, ending Grand View's long nightmare. All the work that everyone has been doing to keep her on life support for three years is paying off with a reality of her rehabilitation in sight.
I felt like these two little messengers were saying something, that for this quiet moment the name engraved on the marble under the dirt wasn't the point. Instead, it represented every tombstone in the park. All 40,000 or so of them.
The message was simple and childlike. That everything will be okay. Keep the faith. And to continue believing in guardian angels no matter how small, who usher in miracles no matter how big.

Oh very cool.

They are sooo touching. Some cemetaries are so beautiful and peaceful. I'm glad Michael will at last have some privacy in death.

Something that disturbes me about his apparent final resting place : Michael´s Mother is a Jehovas Witness, would she agree for her Son to be placed near Catholic Idols,Pictures,Crosses etc??
Has no one thought of that ?

Please keep comments about Michael Jackson confined to posts on that topic. ;)
Forest Lawn Glendale is not a Catholic cemetery. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jehovah is the only true God, the creator of all things, and that Jesus was Jehovah's first creation. While Jesus' life is one of the major themes of Forest Lawn Glendale, it is driven by classic artwork interpretations, not Catholic doctrines.
Hope this helps! :)

Lisa what can I see in the DC area? I often followup on famous names I happen to read about by searching for their graves on famousgraves.com. It must be something about graves that interest me. What should I see in DC? Are their any special organizations I can join. I think an organization that visits graves would satistfy me.
