Wow - you found her.

This was a very sad story and I'm glad that justice was done for Dee Dee.

Now let's see if the LAPD will do justice for Michael.

Excellent article, as always, Lisa. Thank you. I agree with Shimar; I hope that justice is done for Michael, too.

great story, great research. I knew the outcome, I had no idea of the story.

Fascinating, fabulous story.

Was wondering if you anything about the protesters in front of Fl Hollywood Hills today? Say them when I drove by on my lunch break, they were standing directly in front of the park holding a huge well made banner reading "FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL UNDER INVESTIGATION"

Her grave is very near to the grave of former Toto drummer Jeff Porcaro. You probably already knew that, but just in case anyone reading this doesn't and would like to know. Thanks for all your excellent work, Lisa!

  • Exploring History From The Ground Up!

I enjoy spending time exploring cemeteries, reading and photographing headstones of celebrities and civilians alike, and learning about the lives and deaths of these so-called "permanent residents" of the graveyards and mausoleums. This blog chronicles those experiences.

One of the cemeteries I'm most interested in these days is Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif. I wrote about its legal problems for the LA Daily News' community hub, ValleyNews.com from August 2006 to December 2008, when Valley News ceased operations. In response to reader requests to have one central source of information, I created and continue to maintain Grand View Memorial Park (dot) Info.
