What's happened at Grandview is despicable and shameful. I hope everyone in Glendale remembers how PARALYZED and UNRESPONSIVE our illustrious city "leaders" were during this fiasco, and then act accordingly at the ballot box: THROW THE BUMS OUT. If they are this IMPOTENT over a cemetery, imagine how helpless, spineless and worthless they will be during a citywide catastrophe! TIME FOR NEW LEADERSHIP.

I don't live in Glendale but I have relatives buried at GV. I too am quite stunned at how slow the city has reacted - labeling it a nuisance and going after the owners should have been like Step 1 for the City Attorney - duh. If I was a neighbor, I would be filing my own lawsuit against the city and county for letting a fire hazard exist in a densely populated area. I just hope I'm able to visit my relatives' graves someday soon.
